So hi! I am here! I have a lot of things to catch up on here, but for now, let me just show you this: a sneak preview of the cover design of my book.
It may not be called "Scutmonkey" anymore, but I'm proud to say that the flavor remains.
More later.
Fantastic! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the design! And I can't wait till the book's out. I've been switching from buying books to checking them out from the library, but I might have to make an exception for yours! =)
ReplyDeleteThat's a terrific cover!!!
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping it'll be available on the iPad. I'm trying to move away from having dead trees around my apartment
YOU'RE ALIVE!
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea what coming from an Irish Catholic family does to the imagination when you don't wear from someone.
YEAH!! You're back! I was worried.
ReplyDeleteI love the little scutmonkey in your pocket!
ReplyDeletelove it! are you going on a book tour anytime soon?

Been reading your blog for years, even before you had the book deal and the minute I read about it I knew it I'm going to have to buy it, and I will. I wasn't even in med school back then, but I am in now. Thanks for the great blog, can't wait to read the book! Greetings from all the way back in Finland. ;)

awesome! can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeletecongratulations! love the cover and the title.
ReplyDeleteThat looks AWESOME, and I would definitely pick it up!
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome! Can't wait to buy it! Reading doctor blogs makes me SO HAPPY! that I never wanted to be a human doctor, but a veterinarian. And when I gave it my all and I learned that "euthanizing" pets needlessly (i.e. NOT when it's all that's left we can do- ending their suffering selflessly) never feels any less AWFUL!, and I became a lab tech instead...I did the right thing. I'd love to know what a doctor knows and save lives and all... but I like having more of a work-life balance and sleeping regularly. Usuallly...except weekends like this one when I get called back to work 4x! Less than 6 hours 'til my pager gets turned off. Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you and Joe's schedules get a little less brutal STAT. Hope next vacation is a perfect fit, too. :)
This won't hurt a bit. I like it!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll use that before my injections next time and chuckle to myself like a crazy lady. JUST KIDDING.

ReplyDeleteI have been a fan for years starting back when I was an idealistic pre-med and even now as a can-I-graduate-yet? college student and married mom.
