Mack's first day of school went well. I don't quite have the stomach for these kind of drop-off situations, but luckily I go to work very early anyway so that's my excuse. Joe was the designated bad guy, and he said that while there were some tears and low-level leg-clinging in the morning, by the time I picked him up this afternoon Mack was in a good mood and very chatty, which I can only assume is a sign that he had a pretty good time.
The teachers said he didn't nap at the designated naptime though, so we're doing this now. He'll be down for the next three hours, I predict.
(This is a very low-light photo and all Mack's sheets happen to be green, which is why it looks like I'm Jame Gumb stalking him with night-vision goggles in my Kill Basement.)
I was on call all weekend and it looks to be a pretty busy week, but our internet has been down intermittently so I just wanted to take this quick window of functionality to throw something up on Ye Internet and say hi. Hope you guys had a good weekend, and that your week is starting off right.
